Q1 .I BRUSH TWICE DAILY STILL I HAVE BAD BREATH?
 There are many ways in brushing.You have to follow correct brushing technique to avoid bad breathe.Even when you brush thrice daily with wrong brushing technique,it will end up in bad breath.And you have to clean up your teeth once in 6 months,because the calculus(tartar)will remove only when you go for cleaning(SCALING).Only 20 % of calculus will be removed in normal brushing.

Q2. WHAT IS THE MAJOR CAUSE FOR BAD BREATH?
There are enormous reasons for bad breath.Let us see all of them now one by one.

1.FOOD HABITS
When you have your food in hurry,you may not chew it properly.So some food particles stay in your mouth for longtime causes bad breath.Sometimes odor of onion,garlic may also stay in your mouth for longtime,it will only go only when it is completely out of your body.

2.SMOKING/PAN CHEWING
Some harmful habits leads to bad breath for sure.Tobacco products have their own smell to leave in your oral region.It is called smokers breath,which will leads to gum disease later.

3.POOR ORAL HYGIENE.
This is one of the common reason.when we do not brush properly or rinse our mouth properly it will leads to accumulation of calculus and causes bad breath.

4.MOUTH BREATHING
Some people have the habit of breathing in mouth over-night.So in such cases your oral region will get dry totally,which leads to bad breath.

5.MEDICATIONS
Bad breath will cause when you intake vitamins tablets,chemotherapy tablets mainly.

6.INFECTIONS IN ORAL CAVITY
If you have decayed tooth you will end up in bad breath.and when you have impacted tooth(wisdom tooth) also leads to bad breath.

7.DENTURES
 If you are using  dentures(removable replacements) then it may also leads to bad breath when you do not clean it properly.

8.GERD
GERD(gastroesophagyl reflux disease).This is a re-flux that contains stomach acids.This also leads to bad breath.


Q3.WHEN I USE MOUTHWASH I FEEL BETTER FOR BAD BREATH.IS IT ENOUGH?
Absolutely no.Yes!you will feel better when you use mouth wash,but it is only the temporary solution.For permanent result you have to go for cleaning treatment.


Q4.WILL DIABETES LEADS TO BAD BREATH?
YES.But not in all cases.when you are diabetic you have 50% of chances of getting gum diseases.so when your gums get infected,there is a chance of bad breath.


Q5.WILL BAD BREATH LEADS TO DISCOLORATION OF TOOTH?
 YES.Because the tartar(calculus)that stays in your gums is yellow in color .As days pass by when calculus gets deposited more your natural teeth will appear more yellowish in color.


Q6.DO I HAVE ANY QUICK REMEDY FOR BAD BREATH?
YES.You can use chewing gums as your quick remedy.It will give you better releif from bad breath for measurable time.


Q7.SHOULD I DO CLEANING IN ROUTINE WAY?
NO.Not necessary.once you did cleaning you have to maintain proper oral hygine to avoid bad breath.You can do cleaning once in 6 months.


Q8.WHO WILL TREAT BAD BREATH BETTER?
Bad breath is caused due to gum disease.There is specialist called PERIODONTIST who is specially trained to treat gum disease.
