treatment for smile correction


Patient  aged 26 came to our MSR dentistry for smile correction.Patient puts main complaint  as proclined upper second front teeth on both the sidesShe wants to correct it in short span of time also.Considering her age and her requirements,we decided our treatment plan.

First,we clinically examined our patient.On examination we found out that both the upper second front teeth (lateral incisor)is rotated and also proclined.Then we discussed on the case sheet.We have three treatment plans for the patient.First one is orthodontic treatment,where we used to put braces for months and get corrected.Second one is  treatment root canal ,here root canal is done followed by crown.Third one is venners,a complete aesthetic treatment.

During consultation,we explained all the treatment plans to the patient in a detailed manner.We left it to her choice.After long conversation  patient decided to move with root canal treatment with crown.

So we planned the treatment duration.On first visit we did root canal treatment for both the upper second front teeth (lateral incisors) .Followed by their second visit after 2 to 3 days,where crown preparation,impression and shade selection is done in a proper way.Finally we have given crown within 2 days.



Patient is very happy to smile confidently after this treatment .Patient told us that, she gains self confidence and feels pride of herself with her new smile.
