HOW GUIDED TISSUE REGENERATION IS DONE?



Bone loss will leads to a gap between teeth and gums.This further leads to gum diseases ( gingivitis & periodontitis).

In this situation,Flap is raised & cleaned up well.Then Membrane (material ,that contains bone developing components) is placed.In extreme bone loss conditions,bone graft procedure is also done.



Suturing will be done to maintain the position of membrane and bone graft.Suture will be removed after 3 days.

The membrane placed acts as a barrier for new bone formation from soft tissue growth.This membrane also helps to grow the bone faster and  soft tissue slower,which is mandatory for new bone formation.
