Quarantine Dental Bucket list



 For everyone out there who wish to make this 21 days productive..! :)

     In order to protect staff and preserve personal protective equipment and patient care supplies, as well as expand available hospital capacity during the COVID-19 global pandemic, the WHO and other organizations of all countries have suggested that dental facilities postpone elective procedures, surgeries, and non-urgent dental visits, and to prioritize urgent and emergency visits and procedures now and for the coming several weeks.

So they say it takes 21 days to make a habit!!.. The choice is ours to use this self isolation and social distancing to take care of our mental as well as physical health. Let us choose wisely in adding our dental hygiene to our daily routine.

Oral health is overall health. For a healthy smile, you must practice good oral hygiene every day.
This bucket list includes:
  • Brushing twice a day is highly recommended
  • flossing (the right way! check out the video) 
  • for added measures, use a mouth rinse
  • this 21 days , take a look at your oral cavity using a mirror and do a self check up to see if you have any tooth decay..(black cavities)
  • check if you have yellowish deposits on your teeth.
  • our dear denture wearers, try using electric brushes and water aided cleaning devices 
  • last but not least , visit a nearby dentist only if you have any dental emergencies (such as tooth ache,chipped off teeth due to accidents)
