DENTAL IMPLANTS : 

          Dental implants are considered to be the best options to replace missing or damaged teeth

          A dental implant is  a substance that is placed into the jaw to support a crown or fixed or removable denture



  The procedure itself  is not painful since its performed with either GENERAL  ANESTHESIA OR LOCAL ANESTHESIA 

 

After dental implantation, once the numbness wears off, mild pain may be noticed by the patient. The persons who undergo the procedure say this pain is less than the pain of tooth extraction.

HOW LONG PATIENT HAVE DISCOMFORT

Depending on where it was placed, discomfort can also be felt in the chin, cheeks, or underneath the eyes. 


PAIN MANAGEMENT AFTER DENTAL IMPLANT PROCEDURE

In most cases, the DENTAL IMPLANT PROCEDURE itself causes very little pain to the patient. Once the anesthetic wears off, however, patients often feel some level of discomfort. This, of course, varies from patient to patient, based on the level of pain tolerance and the complexity of the procedure.
